HARD-BOILED EGGS
Hard-boiled eggs and Deviled eggs are easy to make. Hard-boiled eggs are great in potato salad, or for deviled eggs or to Dye for Easter eggs, or even to have for breakfast. There are many different ways to make hard-boiled eggs. I have tried some of the different ways. I have tried them in my instant pot. I have tried the 3-minute method. If you googled the recipe or looked in any cookbook, you would probably find many different recipes on how to hard-boil eggs.
I am going to share my favorite way of cooking these eggs. Why is it my favorite? I will tell you. Have you ever cooked hard-boiled eggs and when they are finished the yolks look green? I have. There is nothing wrong with them, but I want my yolks to be a nice yellow color. The way I am going to show you I have never had a problem with green yolks.
FIRST PUT YOUR EGGS IN A POT AND THEN COVER THE EGGS WITH WATER

PUT THE POT ON THE STOVE AND BRING TO A BOIL
AS SOON AS IT STARTS TO BOIL, PUT A LID ON AND TAKE THE POT OFF THE BURNER

SET A TIMER FOR 20 MINUTES

DRAIN THE WATER AND FILL THE POT WITH COLD WATER

COOL THE EGGS BY CHANGING THE WATER TO COLD WATER AFTER A FEW MINUTES

PEEL THE EGGS UNDER A SMALL STREAM OF WATER TO MAKE THEM EASIER TO PEEL.

DEVILED EGGS

USE THE ABOVE RECIPE TO MAKE HARD- BOILED EGGS
- PEEL THE EGGS
- CUT EACH EGG IN HALF
- TAKE THE YOLKS AND PUT IN A SMALL BOWL, SET ASIDE THE WHITES
- USE A FORK TO SMASH THE YOLKS
- PUT 3 TABLESPOONS OF MAYONNAISE IN THE BOWL WITH THE YOLKS
- ADD 1 TABLESPOON OF MUSTARD
- SHAKE IN SOME SALT AND PEPPER
- STIR IT ALL TOGETHER
- FILL EACH EGG WHITE WITH THE Y0LK MIXTURE
Some might add other things such as onions, onion salt, or dill pickles. They also might sprinkle paprika on the top.

HARD-BOILED EGGS IN POTATO SALAD
I use an egg slicer to cut the eggs, and then turn them a half a turn to cut them the other direction. Then add them to the potato salad. I usually use a few of the eggs or deviled eggs on the top of the salad as a garnish.



USE HARD-BOILED EGGS TO DYE EASTER EGGS
HOW DO YOU DYE EGGS WITH WHAT YOU HAVE AT HOME, WITHOUT USING A KIT?
PUT 1/4 CUP OF WHITE VINEGAR IN A PAPER CUP

ADD A DROP OF FOOD COLORING AND STIR
THAT IS IT
PUT A HARD-BOILED EGG IN EACH CUP AND LET IT SIT FOR 10 MINUTES

USE A CRAYON TO WRITE ON THE EGG OR DECORATE IT, BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN THE DYE

USE A SPOON TO REMOVE THE EGG FROM THE DYE

HOW DO YOU MAKE PURPLE – PUT A DROP OF RED AND A DROP OF BLUE

HOW DO YOU MAKE ORANGE-PUT A DROP OF YELLOW AND A DROP OF RED
USE THE HARD-BOILED EGGS AS PART OF A BREAKFAST MEAL
INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE EGGS IN COLD WATER TO COOL THEM, JUST DRAIN THE HOT WATER AND KEEP THE EGGS WARM. CUT THEM IN HALF AND USE A SPOON TO GET THE EGG OUT OF THE SHELL. PUT BUTTER AND SALT AND PEPPER ON EACH EGG AND EAT IT WARM.
