#1 Make Snow Angels
We have been enjoying spring-like weather lately. I was so ready for Spring. I was getting tired of the wind and the cold and the rain.
My husband mowed the lawn, fixed the sprinklers, fertilized, and tilled the flower beds, to get ready to plant. I was so excited. I love the smell of freshly cut grass and the feel of a nice sunny spring day.
Then. . .
Today, we woke up to this:
SO WHAT DO WE DO ABOUT IT?
Do we whine and complain and yell at the sky? Do we go back to bed? Do we build a fire in the fireplace and sit there with a cozy blanket? Do we sit in our favorite chair, and read a good book? Do we eat doughnuts and hot chocolate?
Maybe, just maybe, we could sit in our favorite chair, wrapped in a cozy blanket, near a blazing fire, reading a good book, having doughnuts and hot chocolate.
Or go outside and. . .
MAKE SNOW ANGELS
What are some fun things to do with kids?
In this blog, I plan on posting several activities that parents can do with their kids. Most of them will be fun activities that don’t cost any money. Making snow angels was not the first idea that I was going to post here. Considering that it snowed today, I thought it was an appropriate activity to start. So, in the next few weeks, I will post several activities that I have personally done with my kids. I will also get ideas from family and friends.
So here is the first activity.
#1 Make Snow Angels and play in the snow
What are some fun things you like to do in the Snow? Please leave me a comment and let me know, or what are some activities that you have done with your kids that don’t cost money. Thank you.
